In San Francisco's
Bay area, the National Weather Service has a busy
agenda for tomorrow's "community collaborations day" at
the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, where the weather
service office is also located. Collaborations in ocean,
weather, science, and technology will be celebrated. The
weather service office will be open for tours, and there
will be a weather balloon, tornado machine, NOAA Weather
Radio promotion, and a chance for Girl Scouts to earn that
group's new meteorological badge. The scouts will interview
Susan Anderson of NOAA's San Francisco office. Marilu Trainor,
