NOAA Team Member of Month
With a penchant for exceeding deadlines, and an avid commitment
to
advancing NOAA's needs, William Morehouse has captured June's
Team Member of the Month honors. As a systems installer,
he has been a consultant to the Office of Finance Administration's
Faculty Acquisition and Management Division.
For over five years, Bill has provided just about non-stop support,
assisting NOAA with all types of system furniture moves, relocations,
reconfigurations, systems furniture management and more. Anytime
furniture was moving, Bill was there -- before, during and after.
To get the job done, he has often volunteered nights and weekends,
contributing time, energy and expertise to make sure many simultaneous
jobs get done right.
Bill is constantly spotted installing furniture himself, making
lock changes to workstations, and even personally purchasing keys
to make sure that needs are met quickly. He also manages the NOAA
Systems Furniture inventory, ensuring quality on all installations
and modifications, as well as providing on-site consultation and
assistance to other contract installers.
By spearheading many efforts to inventory systems furniture so
that unused parts can be returned for reimbursement, Bill has
helped NOAA collect over $100,000 to augment in-house inventory.
Just recently, he also provided ongoing support to relocate the
GLOBE educational program. The
Team Member of the Month
award is an excellent way for NOAA to say thanks.
