Oceans Shores will be designated as the first-ever U.S. Tsunami-Ready/Storm-Ready community. Staff of the Seattle-Tacoma National Weather Service Forecast Office and emergency managers are shaping this weather awareness/tsunami safety initiative. Following the event, signs posted throughout Ocean Shores will read: You Are Entering A Tsunami-Ready Community.
